Now as always I’m writing from experience and there’s no shying away from that fact of the matter that having a big bridal squad comes at a cost!

But did you know that traditionally the married couple buying a gift for the bridesmaid was done as a thank you for the bridesmaid buying her own dress. Now yes after a recent survey there is still a small 20% of couples who do ask their bridesmaids to purchase their own dress and I guess if your giving them the option of choosing what to wear in my opinion that’s totally cool. But the majority of couples are paying out for the dresses, the hair and make up, the shoes etc and still gifting? 

And it’s not ending there right, then there’s the robes and slippers and the personalised box full of (come on let’s be honest) the wedding equivalent of ‘stocking fillers. Listen it’s not all about what looks good on the gram so ask yourself is it necessary?
