Danielle & Shaun shared with us the special details from the engagement to their honeymoon! They married at St Andrews Church then moved onto Tontine Hotel in Inverclyde, Scotland - read below for all the details…

Tell us about your engagement?

We got engaged in December 2020, after being together for 10 years. We booked our wedding quite quickly for July 2023. I fell pregnant in 2022, and having our baby boy at our wedding was the best gift of all.

Who did you choose for your bridal party?

Our bridal party consisted of friends and family, the people who are closest to us and support us.

Favourite part of wedding planning?

The favourite part of planning was trying on my wedding dress. I was 15 weeks pregnant at the time and this worried me, but I knew right away that my dress was the one.

Hardest part of wedding planning?

The hardest part was probably the table plans! But we got there in the end.

Brides favourite moment on the day ?

My favourite moment of the day was when walking down the aisle I felt all of my nerves leave my body the minute I laid eyes on Shaun. I wasn’t nervous anymore and couldn’t wait to marry him.

Grooms favourite moment of the day?

Seeing Danielle walk down the aisle (I cried). I loved seeing her for the first time at the church.

Your tips for future couples?

Our tips for future couples would be to research all of your suppliers before booking, and enjoy every moment because it goes by so fast!

Tell us about your honeymoon plans?

We have just had our first honey/family moon to Greece. It was so special and definitely would go back. Made so many special memories as newlyweds with our son, Robbie.
