Our Brand Campaign

Rewinding 6 months ago I wanted to share with you details of an incredible empowering day!

I had a vision for a while of showing off my collection through a photo shoot with women of all different shapes, sizes, ethnicity and ability's after being inspired by a Dove advert on the tv and also Khloé Kardashian's campaigns for her Good American brand. I have never used paid models before and I really didn't want to start, I wanted to use real everyday women, women who would never have that opportunity or perhaps even the confidence to do something like this.

I decided to give my followers and customers the change to put themselves forward or to nominate someone! I honestly didn't think when I posted that anyone would apply! It was a fairly in-depth application where I asked them to tell me about themselves and why they would want to take part in something like this. I couldn't believe it, my inbox was overflowing with applications so much so I had to take the link down because I had over 250 women apply! I read every single application many of them filling me with tears reading their 'why's' . Women of all ages from all walks of life wanting to be apart of our campaign for so many different reasons! Picking just 6 was up there with one of the hardest things I have had to do but sending those messages to the final 6 I really wish I could have seen their faces when they opened them!

From all over the country our girls, the new faces of our campaign were ( left to right ) Ella, Myself, Steph, Judann, Jaz, Dushy & Gemma!

I decided to jump in as personally being infront of a camera doesn't come naturally to me and scares me so I wanted to show the girls we was all in this together! I made sure before the day we was all in a wats app group to get to know each other and for us all to reassure each other! From the moment we all met everyone got along so well it was such a lovely feeling!

We all arrived at the beautiful venue Baddow Park House and had our dream team of Hair and Make up artists (credits below) on hand to get us ready in the beautiful Salon Suite. We all chose how we wanted our hair and make up, this wasn't about everyone looking the same like a traditional bridesmaid squad this was about us all feeling comfortable and individual!

Each of us not only wore a different piece from the collection inc our Classic multiway in both maxi and mid length worn by myself and Dushy, our Tulle Dress worn by Ella, Fishtail worn by Jaz, Jumpsuit by Judann, Classic with leg split by Gemma and our Classic with shawl by Steph. We also had different shades and tones of blush pink! I used a mix of Pastel pink, Dusky pink, Rose gold glitz and Blush, each styled differently to suit! Breaking yet another traditional rule when it comes to the bridesmaids attire but showing how within our collection it just works!

We had such a fun day shooting and filming individually and as a group. We all cheered each other on throughout the day and I can honestly say I could not have chosen a nicer group of girls who are all beautiful on both the inside and out!

I'm sure you will all agree from our photos and videos that we created something amazing and I hope it inspires other companies to really think more about inclusivity and diversity within their brands.

I will continue to strive to be the most inclusive bridesmaid brand around!

A special thank you to all of the amazing women who made this day a total success and who helped my vision come to light!

I am delighted to have already had this campaign featured in two magazines and without saying to much right now this won't be the last time you'll see our beautiful day on your screens!
